Questions
What KreatorHQ does, what it doesn't, and what it costs. Anything else, ask us.
What is KreatorHQ?
A tool for creators who want paid work from local businesses. It finds businesses near you, scores how well each one fits the content you make, writes your first message, and tracks the deal from yes to paid. Your media kit gives a business everything it needs to say yes.
How does it find businesses?
It searches the area you set — up to 25 miles around home, plus a second area for when you travel on Creator — and checks each business's website for an Instagram and an email. You can also search for a kind of business yourself.
What does the fit score mean?
How good a lead a business is for you. It weighs how close the business is to your niche, whether it's independent or a chain, how near it is, whether it's the kind of place that looks good on camera, and how you could reach it. The same business scores differently for a food creator and a fitness creator.
Does KreatorHQ send messages for me?
No. It writes your first message from what it checked about the business — and says less when there's nothing honest to say. You send it yourself, from your own Instagram or email. The one exception: once a business messages you on Instagram, you can reply from inside KreatorHQ during Instagram's 24-hour reply window, if you've connected your account.
Do I need to connect Instagram?
Not to find businesses or write to them. Your media kit is built from your Instagram numbers, so it needs the connection, and so does replying to businesses inside the app.
What does my media kit show a business?
Facts: your followers, engagement rate, recent posts, and how old those numbers are. No scores or grades. You share it as a link, which expires after 30 days and which you can switch off at any time. You see when a link is opened, and a business can reply to you straight from the kit.
What's free, and what does Creator add?
Free is the whole daily workflow with limits on volume: up to 12 active leads, 3 outreach messages a day and 2 new deals a week. Creator is $29.99 a month, lifts those limits, and adds your media kit, contracts and invoices, and revenue insights. Compare the plans.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from the Billing page in the app. You go back to Free, and Creator stays on until the end of the month you've paid for.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
Deletion is scheduled for 30 days after you ask, so you can change your mind; after that your account and its data are deleted. The data deletion page explains what is removed.
What is KreatorHQ?
A tool for creators who want paid work from local businesses. It shows you businesses near you that fit the content you make, one card at a time, writes your first message, and tracks every deal until you're paid. Today shows what you've earned this month, and your kit gives a business everything it needs to say yes.
How does it find businesses?
It searches the area you set (up to 25 miles around home, plus a second area for when you travel on Creator) and checks each business's website for an Instagram and an email. You can also search for a kind of business yourself, or see your picks on a map.
How does it decide what to show me?
It weighs how close the business is to your niche, whether it's independent or a chain, how near it is, whether it's the kind of place that looks good on camera, and how you could reach it. Each card says why it might fit you, and “Fits your niche” appears only when the kind of business matches your niche. The same business ranks differently for a food creator and a fitness creator. Skip one and it comes back after 60 days.
Does KreatorHQ send messages for me?
No. It writes your first message from what it checked about the business, and says less when there's nothing honest to say. You send it yourself, from your own Instagram or email. The one exception: once a business messages you on Instagram, you can reply from inside KreatorHQ during Instagram's 24-hour reply window, if you've connected your account.
How do I get paid?
Straight to your own account. On Creator, you add your Venmo, Cash App or PayPal to your kit, and when a deal is posted you send the business an invoice link with your pay buttons on it. KreatorHQ doesn't handle the money or take a cut. Payments through those links aren't detected automatically, so you mark the invoice paid when the money arrives. On Free, you record invoices and mark them paid yourself, so your earnings still add up.
Do I need to connect Instagram?
Not to find businesses or write to them. Your kit and your numbers are built from your Instagram, so they need the connection, and so does replying to businesses inside the app.
What does my kit show a business?
Facts: your followers, engagement rate, and recent posts, plus what you choose to add: an intro, your rates, featured posts, the past collabs you choose to name, and a quote from a business. No scores or grades, and no city unless you type one. You can share one link in your Instagram bio, which you can switch off at any time, or a private link for one business, which expires after 30 days. You see when a link is opened, and a business can reply to you straight from the kit.
